The supremely kept green in a very attractive setting is the home of the BETLEY & DISTRICT VILLAGE HALL BOWLING CLUB.
The club has many enthusiastic members and this keenness is shown by the fact that we now have 2 teams in each of the following leagues:

Crewe & Nantwich
Sandbach & District
Newcastle u Lyme

For those members who do not seek such a competitive level of bowling there is still a full programme of friendly matches with local teams and we also provide for those bowlers who just want to have a game with friends.
Throughout the year there are a number of organised social events and the one that has now become established as an annual village attraction, the Strawberry Fair, will this year be held on Sunday 30th June.

If you would like to sample the friendly and social atmosphere we cordially invite you to any of the matches or social events. 

Annual subscription for the 2002 season is £20. but for total novices free tuition is available by arrangement.
